Verizon – Super Bowl LIVE 2018

As part of Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, Verizon activated a 10-day public festival called Super Bowl LIVE by Verizon downtown, showcasing concerts, food, brand activations, and family-friendly experiences. Fan Hospitality In the midst of the festival, Verizon Up members were treated to something special: a 24’ × 40’ glass-walled Members Lounge, offering a warm retreat from the city’s winter, exclusive VIP views, and surprise moments. NFL players made surprise appearances in the lounge, contributing to giveaways (including tickets to Super Bowl LII) and engaging directly with fans. Working in partnership with Momentum Worldwide, I directed the production and installation of this high-profile temporary structure, built to withstand sub-zero temperatures, heavy snow, and intense crowds. This required meticulous planning, from navigating city permits and safety codes to coordinating contractors and vendors under tight timelines.

As Project Manager, I was responsible for the full scope of this activation—leading the build-out, logistical execution, vendor coordination, and ensuring the lounge delivered both in comfort and brand impact despite tight timelines and tough winter conditions. The activation drove buzz for Verizon Up, elevated loyalty program visibility, and created memorable moments for thousands of fans in the heart of the Super Bowl fan universe.
